I need to organise flight insurance as i've decided to go on my next tour by plane rather than caravan this time. To ensure I don't find myself in an expensive bind and nowhere to go, I need to arrange all my insurance policies in preparation. The most important being the updating of my health insurance. I have investigated health insurance in the past but have never actually chosen a policy. You never know what could happen and where while travelling so health care insurance is extremely important. I will choose an insurance policy very soon and fill out an online application as soon as possible.

With so many health insurers and policies available, this will be a very difficult decision. I'm hoping to find an affordable policy with a trustworthy insurance company, and also look into the possibility of free health insurance. I need the insurance plan to cover travel around Australia and let me customise the options to suit my health care requirements. Choosing the best health insurance plan may possibly take a lot more time than I had planned! I will need to compare every feature and choose judiciously.

An insurance calculator is a great way to compare the possible expenses for each health insurance plan and can save a lot of time. It will enable be to gain a fairly good idea of what prices to expect. After I have organised my medical insurance, I shall begin to plan my holiday in great depth. I will also take out travel insurance, and ensure my life insurance cover is updated. I've been looking at better planning of my finances lately, and let me tell you that I'm glad to have stumbled across Finweb which has a huge range of articles and links to help me out. I was getting really worried about my personal loans debt and how I could handle it better, but after reading some of the articles on Financial Web I feel a lot more confident about being able to consolidate debt using debt consolidation loans.

They seem to have recently started a bookmarking tool as well at my.finweb.com, which is great as it's helping me to organise my searches for financial information. They have a great range of links for beginners that I've been looking at. I really think that this will give me the info I need to turn my financial situation around.

Insurance For My Insurance Policy

I've discovered that finding cheap home insurance is an endless battle as the lower premiums available seem to provide a lower level of cover. I am not willing to reduce my level of cover just to save a few dollars so I just need to search for the best cheap house insurance I can find. I have done some preliminary investigations but will need to look into it further before making any decisions. An insurance broker should help me find the perfect insurance policy to suit my requirements and I can discuss the advantages of flood insurance as an extra policy.

With so many home owners insurance companies to choose from, i'm not entirely sure where to start. I'm sure the insurance broker will be a help in this area but I want to have a good idea of my preferences before hearing their opinions. I expect I will choose a household insurance policy with house contents covered also. I will definitely require fire insurance as we live in a very susceptible area surrounded by foliage. I imagine these features would be available in the one policy, and could save me money by combining them all.

I will have to find out how strict each company is regarding an insurance claim. I have had an exhausting time in the past trying to convince my insurance company to approve my claim but to no avail. The insurance assessor is the key person in this situation and needs to be reasonable with their decisions. I'm not entirely sure how to judge the leniency of an insurance company but it is an important point to consider. Hopefully I will not need to lodge insurance claims for a very long time, if ever, but you never know what's around the corner.

I have been shopping around for a new car but to afford the car of my dreams, it looks like I will need to take out a car loan. I will also need to make sure I have enough money for car insurance, car registration, not to mention all the fancy car accessories I hope to buy. The HSBC car loan is one of my top 10 car loans and seems to have some great loan packages and interest rates. Another loan I have had my eye on is the RACV car loan - it has very affordable interest rates and no extra charges which is a huge bonus.

To ensure I do choose the best car loan for my financial situation, I need to compare car loans thoroughly and research all my options. Another loan possibility is the Aussie car loan. I have heard great things about Aussie and am keen to find out more about their car loan features. They have fixed monthly repayments which means I know exactly how much I will need to pay each month and can budget accordingly. The Bank of Queensland car loan has a similar feature, but you can actually choose fixed or variable rate options and pay off your car sooner.

Choosing a car loan can be an exhausting task with so many loan options and packages available! From a GE Money car loan to a Wizard car loan, the list is seemingly endless. I will spend the next week or two continuing my car loan research and also see if I can find a car loan package with some discounted extras. Who knows, I might even end up with a Commonwealth Bank car loan.

The Great Mobile Phone Number Heist

I was searching for my friend's new mobile phone number this morning as she had changed phone companies recently. I should have put it straight into my phones contact phonebook, but alas I did not think ahead and the scap of paper the number is written on has gone missing. I need to find a mobile phone directory and track down her mobile number as soon as possible. I never realised how hard it was to find someone's mobile phone number online. I shall try and find her home phone number and just leave a message.

I am also attempting to learn the functions of my mobile phone as I only purchased it a week ago. The mobile phone internet has been the most convenient aspect of the phone which surprised me. I can check my email and surf the internet anytime and in any location as long as I have my 3G mobile with me. I almost bought a cheaper phone without 3G connectivity, but the mobile plans actually worked out to be cheaper overall for the better quality mobile phone! This phone also allows me to watch mobile phone movies with superb audio and video quality. I just have to master the rest of the features, especially the mobile ringtone customisation, to get the most out of it.

Bank Account Bliss

I finally applied for a high interest savings account so I can deposit any extra cash I may have and watch it grow. It's going to be such a gold mine that I will ensure my financial advisor is informed about the impending money explosion, although I may find I can't resist but spend it using my bank accounts online. Having bank accounts full of money is such a wonderful thing as it means I do not have to worry about having enough money available to pay for bills or any unexpected expenses. It will be a nice change of pace I must say, and I can also buy myself a treat or two without worrying.

These high interest savings accounts are such a great idea. You can just let them sit there gaining interest and even have a chosen amount of money automatically deposited regularly from your other accounts. If I even need to use the money in the savings accounts, all I need to do is to transfer it to my online bank accounts and it will be ready for me to use straight away. It is such a relief to know my money is slowly growing rather than disappearing on account fees and purchases.

Card Find 101

It's that time of the year again and I have been spending up big with my low interest credit cards. I have signed up to their rewards program so I should have increased my points balance significantly. My credit card companies regularly contact me asking if I want to increase my spend limit but i'm sure I would end up in debt if I had such a huge amount of credit waiting, yearning even, to be spent. However I do want to apply for a new credit card as my current one does not have any interest free days. If I managed to pay off any balance owing on a higher interest card within the interest free days period, then I would virtually have interest free credit cards!

There are several cards I am thinking of applying for including the Commonwealth Bank credit cards and HSBC credit cards. The NAB visa mini is a very desirable card also but I am basing that entirely on its looks - I haven't even read about any of its features yet. My current rewards program is quite good and rewards me with gift vouchers, appliances, and magazine subscriptions, but I really want a Frequent Flyer rewards program so I can build up points for free flights. I do believe some ANZ credit cards have this rewards program so I think they will end up being my number one choice.

Ninja Debt

This past year has been filled with expenses and it looks like i'm going to have to apply for some bank cards to get through the debt. It was very sneaky debt as I had no idea it was lurking around the corner. There are sure to be some great balance transfers offers around as the end of the financial year is nearing. This could save me a fortune in interest payments and I could be out of debt in no time! Credit card debts are always a possibility if i'm not careful and don't pay off the transfer amount within the term though, so I might contact my financial advisor to see if my current financial situation will prevent me from keeping up with my payments.

There have been a fair few websites that have given me some great ideas on which cards to apply for and the card services they provide. The following are my current favourites and come recommended by my financial advisor also:

I should take the time to thoroughly go through all the available credit card services to ensure i'm getting the best available card but i'm just itching to go to the above websites and click the "apply now" button and apply for my credit card online. Fortunately, I have to get some details from my accountant before I can apply which could be a blessing in disguise. I'll update this blog as soon as I have my finances sorted and can brag about my brilliant credit card rewards.

Soggy SIM

In all the rain we received recently, I was unprepared and became completely soaked from head to toe! Fortunately there was only one casulty - my 3G mobiles. I've had these for a few years now and have been meaning to upgrade anyway so it wasn't the disaster it could have been. I'm very keen to find a mobile phone with GPS, phone camera, and mp3 ringtones....a chic design wouldn't go astray either! There are many mobiles to choose from these days offering all those features and more, it's difficult to know where to start!

I'm currently using prepaid mobile phones but I think i'll find some capped mobile phone plans with free phones this time. The $20 cap mobile plan with $50 worth of calls and texts looks perfect for me, and i'm happy to spend an extra $20 a month to pay off the mobile phone of my choice. I'm hoping to find a Nokia phone available on these plans but will happily opt for a Sony Ericsson mobile. This mobile phone drenching has perfect timing!

Financial Oops

Finances have got the better of me lately and i've found myself staring at different personal loans websites dreaming of the possibilities. I've accidentally become emersed in debt and desperately need financial help so, with the help of personal loans, I think I can resurface and keep my finances under control.

There are so many personal loans available, I wouldn't know where to start! I'll contact my bank and financial advisor for some assistance to point me in the right direction. I've certainly learnt my lesson about buying too many diamond studded ski boots! Financial debt is not a fun place to be!

I was twiddling my thumbs the other day patiently waiting in line at the bank to see someone about applying for second mortgage loans. I had been standing there awaiting my financial services for approximately an hour now and was beginning to lose my mind! I mean, how long does it take to withdraw and deposit money??

I've got to set up my online banking account as soon as possible so I won't have to go through such an endlessly time consuming and dull experience again. They could at least serve hot chocolate or give investment advice to those waiting in line. I would have even been happy to just browse through a real estate catalogue to keep me occupied.

I don't know much about internet banking but I do know that you can bank online any time, any where, and there is no queue! Now thats how all banking should be! I shall set up my account tonight and should be in business by tomorrow.

I'm hoping a banking employee will read this blog and act on my brilliant queue entertainment ideas!

Tantalising Finances

"A tantalisingly triumph!" were my first words when I read about the new loans available from my loan company. In partnership with the local bank, they have come up with some great deals for a secured loan, personal loan, unsecured loan, and many others. I am temped to take out a car loan to finally buy the vehicle I have had my eye on for years!

My financial advisor was also impressed when I informed her of the new loans available. She is going to visit her mortgage lender to discuss the possibility of transferring her loan to my company. I hope many others take advantage of these loans so the banks realise how popular they are and continue with such great deals.

Ahoy mateys! It be time to drop anchor and visit Woodport! This is the most glorious feat of lyrical achievement I have come across in my ten years of sailing. I can't begin to imagine how one could challenge these lyrics with some amazing websites or links. I did however, discover some very impressive websites the other day filled with heavenly links.

These websites include Jean's which favours links to shopping and finance, Kim's which leaves you wanting more after clicking on her real estate links, and Will's website is a brilliant read I must say, with links to finance sites and articles.

Addicted to Woodport

I've decided to visit woodport for the tenth time this year! Now i've looked into credit card consolidations, I think i'll be able to save a lot of money leaving me with more to travel. I plan to go shopping and see all the tourist attractions as well as the lesser known sights.

This will be a longer trip than my usual as I plan to stay with family there for a few weeks. My friends intend on joining me at some stage too once their cash loan is approved. This will surely make the trip one of the best so i'll have to take tonnes of photos to store the memories.

The family members I will be staying with have been making huge renovations to their home since their home improvement loans were approved. It will be very interesting to see how their house has changed since I last saw them, let's hope the construction is at a peaceful stage while i'm there!
